Social
Studies Fair … Okay! All
Final Drafts have been turned in! Now
Students should be working on their Infosphere pieces. All students need to do is write three
separate sentences about information learned in their report and draw a picture
to go with the sentence. These will be
assembled in school. These pieces should
be turned in by Monday, February 25th (Note the date change).
Chili’s Fundraiser Reminder … Our next dining in/carryout fundraiser to
help raise funds for the technology program is on Monday, February 25, 2013.
Please come join us at Chili's in Troy. Remember to bring the fundraiser flyer.
Chili's will donate 10% of the sales to our school.
*Also, if our school brings in $750.00 in profit, then Chili's will sponsor an all you can eat pancake breakfast for $5.00 a person. We would receive 100% of the profit from this breakfast.

Display
Boards … Students
will need to be thinking about how they want to display his or her projects at
the Social Studies Fair. Many students
will be using tri-fold display boards.
Mrs. Spanos has purchased some and they are available on a first come,
first serve basis. Colored boards are
$3.25 and white boards are $2.75.
Fast Direct … Mid-quarter is fast
approaching (next Friday)! Fast Direct
has been updated so please take time during this long weekend to look at your
child’s progress. If there are any
missing assignments and you would like copies, please submit it to me in
writing next week. Thanks!
Social Studies Test … We will be having
a Social Studies Test over chapter 4 on Friday next week. The Moodle review is up on the website for students
to practice.
Golden Circle Auction Baskets … This
Auction is fast approaching (faster than I realized!). There is a sign-up sheet outside our
classroom for donations that are needed for us to make our 3 baskets. There are still several items that are needed. If you are able to help, please have them to
school no later than Thursday, February 21st. Thank you in advance for your donation!

students worked on in class! What a
talented bunch of students we have in our classroom!
