Praise the Lord! It's Friday!

Whew! Today was a looooooooong day!!!! We love free dress days, but they always make it very difficult for us to focus. They are much needed, but thankfully they only come twice a month! :)

Here we go...

Successes: We made it through the day alive?????? I'm just kidding!!!!! We had a good day! Today was my first day observing Choir practice & I was SO VERY proud of my students for their behavior!!! They sang so beautifully! Don't forget that we are singing at 11:00 service! Be sure to see The Second Grade Standard for more details!

Struggles: All of us, myself included, had trouble staying on task today!! I felt a little like the substitute teachers that I had as a child growing up -- only little question could send us off track for the next 20 minutes! We tried to accomplish as much as we could & the rest will have to wait for Monday!

Homework: NO HOMEWORK!!!!! Students didn't even need to bring their folders and assignment books home -- WOOHOO!!!!

Prayers: We pray that Ashley has a good last football game tomorrow. We prayed that Grace's dog wouldn't bite her again. We asked for quick healing for Drew's Great-Grandma so that she can get out of the hospital. Be with Kemp and his family as they welcome his Grandparents for the weekend! Tomas is thankful for his new shoes. We prayed that Sara's brother, Jake, would get better quickly! Andrey prayed that his brother would have a good field trip. Jack asked that his bowling & grandparent time be fun this weekend. Ricardo prayed that his mom would stay safe at work. Finally, We prayed that Vidhiyaa and her parents would have safe travels home to America. They might even be on their way home as I write this!


Yay!!!!!! Vidhiyaa comes back to school on Monday!!!!! Woohoo!
