I've been so concerned with making sure report cards get done that I've completely lost track of time! Well, again, better late than never!
Here we go...
Successes: We finished our reading test today!!! Woohoo! Next week we start some new stories! We also had great fun singing John Jacob Jinglheimer Schmidt in music class today. We talked about dynamics and how they can make music more interesting.
Struggles: We've been pretty wound-up this week and today was no exception. We had a very difficult time focusing and leaving our neighbors alone today:( Please keep us in your prayers.
Homework: Math 37B, Spelling test & wkst. 58-59 if it's not already completed.
Prayers: Safe travels for Kemp's grandparents who are traveling from Pennsylvania. Thanks that Ricardo had a great birthday. Speedy healing for Ashley's grandparents. Andrey asked for prayers that Chandler would have a good day at school today. Prayers for Jack's ankle that was giving him a little trouble yesterday. Finally, We have 1 more school day before Vidhiyaa comes back!!! We especially pray for her whole family as they fly back to America. We also think of her grandparents who will miss them when they comeback.
I know that Vidhiyaa's mom has been checking this blog while they've been gone. Please tell Vidhiyaa that we CAN'T WAIT FOR HER TO COME HOME!!!!!!!!!! WE MISS HER!!!!!!! Safe travels Mom, Dad and Vidhiyaa! See you on Monday!!!!!
Also, just a few things about tomorrow.....Free dress for the school and we have 2 "kid size" quilts made by our class that are being auctioned off in tomorrow's silent auction at our school's Euchre Tournament. The cost is $20 per person, but the money goes toward a worthy cause -- the students of Our Shepherd!!! Hope to see you all there!!!!!
Harvest Blessings,
Miss Mazur
