Monday Already???

I don't know about you, but I could have done with 1 more day in my weekend. Not because I didn't want to come to school, but I just had so much that I wanted to accomplish this weekend & couldn't because I didn't have enough time! Oh, well, I guess it will have to wait until this weekend!

Here we go...

Successes: I saw some wonderful Favorite Storybook Characters today!! We worked on the pictures today. We made sure we used bold, bright colors to make it really stand out. Later this week we will be writing about our character and will then bring them home. If you want to send it in, the form will be coming home on Wednesday.

Struggles: It was a difficult day for us in Art class today. We had several students who wouldn't listen and follow directions. Please keep us in your prayers that we will make good choices & that we will follow directions!

Homework: Math 45B, Social Studies "Cherokee" wkst., Science test over Chapter 3, Science vocabulary cards are also due tomorrow.

Prayers: We pray that Ashley & all others who are traveling over the Thanksgiving holiday have a safe & fun trip. Please help Christian's cough to go away. Heal Eli's cold quickly. Thanks for the fun that Grace had with her family this weekend. Thanks for the fun that Kemp had at his birthday party. Help us all to have a great Thanksgiving. We pray that Joseph stops having bad dreams. Help Sara to have a good dress rehearsal today. Help Jaclyn to enjoy her half birthday this week. Heal Tomas' Sister's cut. Help Ricardo's dog to calm down. Be with Andrey's neighbor who is sick. Be with Christopher's dog who's having surgery. Be with the people who are choosing to leave the Air Force Academy & and be with those who choose to stay. We also ask for safe travels for Michael's brother.

Finally, there is a note that went home today about the Cookie Walk...It's states that the Cookie Walk will take place on Dec. 4th. This is incorrect & should have been changed by your child. The correct date is December 11th. (Help is needed on the 10th & 11th). Please let Mrs. Loebl know if you are able to help!
