What a Wednesday!

It was a great sunshine-y day today! It was so nice to be outside and get some fresh air!

Here we go...

Successes: Our prayers from yesterday must have been answered with a yes because our center time when MUCH better this afternoon! Great work kids!

Struggles: We started working on our doubles plus 1 facts this week. We're still learning them, but some extra practice each night would be really helpful!

Homework: Memory Work, Science vocab cards -- students need to have the word on the blank side, definition & picture on the lined side (they are due Friday), Math 27B, read the paper copy books that come home today (they don't need to come back), and Handwriting pg. 37-38.

Prayers: We prayed that Ricardo and his hockey team would play their best today for their first game. Jack was thankful for his rearranged bedroom. We asked for help in preparing for our Science test which will be on Wednesday of next week. Aaron's Great-Grandma who's head is healing. We also prayed for good weather for our field trip coming up on the 23rd.

Also, don't forget Friday is a Theme Dress day -- bring in $1 or a hygiene item & you can wear fall colored (orange, red, brown, etc.) shirt with jeans.

Blessings on your Wednesday Evening,
Miss Mazur

P.S. I subscribe to the Love & Logic updates & the one I received today had a great phrase that would be very useful in the classroom & thought you might like to hear it as well. I liked the phrase "I love you too much to argue." Click here to read the entire article.
