Oops! I Hope It Doesn't Happen Again!

Have you ever had that feeling that you've forgotten something & can't figure out what you've forgotten??? Well, I had that feeling all evening yesterday until about 10:00 p.m. when a lightning bolt hit me and I remembered that I didn't do a blog entry for the day! By that point I figured no one was going to read it, so I just waited until today. Please forgive me!

Here we go...

Successes: We did extremely well during reading today. Students have been learning different center activities since school began. Today it was "Tic-Tac-Math" and they did very well. I was able to listen to some students read to me while they played the game.

Struggles: Well, the same thing that was successful in the morning was not so successful in the afternoon. I still wanted to listen to some students read, so I gave them time to play the game again & our manners were not the best. We weren't using Arm-length voices, we were goofing around with our neighbors & our partners. It was very difficult for us to concentrate.

Homework: Science wkst. 34 & Math 26B.

Prayers: Aaron's Great-Grandma has staples in her head from a large cut -- pray that it heals quickly. We thank God that Andrey's brother, Chandler, finally got his cast off! Quick healing for Drew's Dad who twisted his ankle. Jack's Grandma's leg is sore. Ashley prays that her foot doesn't hurt tonight during dance. Thanks that Gracie's ankle stopped hurting. We prayed that God would take away Christian's side cramps when he runs:). And, we prayed for God to calm Tomas' excitement until he is actually IN Disney World.
