Well, I don't know about you, but I am thankful for today being Thursday. It means that we have a Theme Dress Day tomorrow. Students can, for a $1 or personal hygiene item, can wear jeans with a red, orange, or yellow top (those colors only). There can be small amounts of other colors, but predominantly those 3 listed.
Here we go...
Successes: We started a quilt project for the Euchre Tournament today. We chose the theme of crosses. Each student created their own cross and colored it how they wanted. The squares were really cute.
Struggles: Our main struggle today was Memory Work. There were several people who had to be fed just about every other word to make it through today. We talked about it at devotions, and I explained that God's Word is the most important thing they would learn here! I think they got the message:) Please keep it in your prayers though!
Homework: Science vocabulary cards (pg. 53 for the words) are due tomorrow, Math 28B, wkst. 71-72 & 80 (not 79 yet), Spelling Test tomorrow (remember this is a review week with 20 words).
Prayers: Safe travels for Jack's Grandma who is picking him up from school today. We pray that Grace's Grandpa heals quickly after his surgery last week. Sara prays that she would have a great time at her friends Birthday Party tomorrow. Thanks that Ricardo and his team won their hockey game last night. We prayed that all children participating in soccer games, football games & practices of all sports would play to the best of their ability. We continued to pray for Aaron's Great-Grandma & quick healing. Thanks that Andrey's brother doesn't have to go back to the doctor. Thanks that Tomas' dog is getting better. We also asked God to grant us good weather on our field trip next Friday!
Blessings,
Miss Mazur
