We Made It to Wednesday!

Don't misunderstand -- everyone is alive:)! We have just had a very long week -- yesterday's gloominess made the day seem much longer than it really was! Today's sunshine was a welcome change!

Here we go...

Successes: We had a great time sharing what we know about bats today. We read in our Science books about a woman named Nancy Simmons who works for the American Museum of Natural History. It was quite interesting to learn that the false bat is one of the largest bats in the world. Be sure to ask your child what else they learned about bats!

Struggles: Keep working on those 'adding 9' facts!

Homework: Science wkst. 30-31, math 23B, and Handwriting pg. 33-34.

Prayers: You better sit down for these...it's a record number!

  • Pray that we make good choices today
  • A stop to Drew's bloody noses
  • Grace's Dad's birthday on Friday
  • Joseph's mom to feel better
  • Tomas' dog to get better
  • Jack's Grandma who was bitten by her cat:(
  • Daphne's mom to stop aching at night
  • Stuffy noses
  • Andrey picking up sticks in the yard
  • Thanks for Cameron's puppy's tick shot
  • Safe travels to Virginia for Aaron's Grandma
  • Sara's brother, Noah, who is dealing with some tooth issues
  • Kemp who is going to be getting a filling
  • Joseph's hamster
  • Cameron's Mom who had 2 teeth pulled

I guess it just shows that the students know that there is power in prayer!

Also, don't forget to sign up for the Birmingham Torry 5K Fun Walk!! The class with the most participants by Friday gets a FREE DRESS DAY! You can sign up by clicking here.

Blessings on your evening!

Miss Mazur
