Terrific Tuesday!

Today really was a great day! It seemed to take forever, but it was good! We had a visit from the Fire Department -- not because of a fire, but to remind us about Fire Safety Week. We were able to turn on lights, push air brakes & ask good questions!

Here we go...

Successes: We worked very hard today during center time! We used our Arm-Length voices, we were responsible with our own work...It was good all the way around!

Struggles: We are struggling with our "adding 9" facts. We just started them, but just keep practicing them -- we will get it! Be sure to ask your child what the tricks are for remembering the sums. If they can't remember -- let me know:)

Homework: We had very little homework today...Math 22B, Spelling pg. 34-35 (due Friday), and Chapel Offering for tomorrow:)

Prayers: We prayed that Jack's Aunt's cat who just had surgery would get better soon, that Drew would have no more bloody noses -- God answered no on that one, but we can keep praying it. We prayed that we would enjoy "Dinner Theater" today (thanks Mrs. McLoughlin for the Slurpees!!!), and that we would have a safe field trip on the 23rd. We also prayed for great birthday treats & that we would have a great day (and we did!).

Also, I would like to encourage you to consider participating in the Birmingham Torry 5K Fun Walk that Our Shepherd will be sponsoring on the 24th for this month. We just found out today that the class with the most participation earns a free dress day! -- Just something to think about. More information will be coming home in Friday's Lamb's Connection.
