TGIF!

Did I already use that title??? Hmmmm...it's a great one! I'm sure we all feel this way when we know that we have a nice, relaxing weekend ahead of us!

Here we go...

Successes: We started a new art project today! Students are creating another skyline picture with cut paper. The only supplies being used are glue sticks, scissors & scrap construction paper. The are turning out wonderfully! I hope to have them up on our bulletin board by the end of next week.

Struggles: I guess if I had to choose a struggle it would still be the critical thinking. Keep asking the higher level questions. Don't be afraid to lead them to the answer -- they need to understand the process!

Homework: NONE!!!!! We did everything in class & they didn't have to bring anything home. Also, the copier was broken today so the newsletter will be coming home on Monday. I will include the Memory in today's entry.

Prayers: We prayed for friends of Ashley & Vidhiyaa who are hurt. We thanked God for bringing Grace's Dad home safely and her Grandpa who was having shoulder surgery. We asked God to grant Ashley a successful pep rally tonight. And, animals -- Aaron's brother, Jake, has a lizard named "Camouflage" would stop coughing during the night so he can sleep & also that Jack would remember to feed his frogs so that they would live. You can't make this stuff up:-)! We also said thanks for trips that are planned for the coming vacations.
