We made it! We worked hard, accomplished a lot, and we are probably VERY tired...I know I am:). I will be very happy to go home and put my feet up!
Here we go...
Successes: We had times during the day where everyone was quite and able to concentrate! We also had a lot of time to complete our homework, so students should have very little to no homework!!!!! We followed directions very well!
Struggles: We had a difficult time finishing some things in a timely manner. The Religion windsock that we brought home today took much more time than I had anticipated. I think we are still in summer mode....
Homework: We have Math Homework 2B and Handwriting worksheet (wkst.) pg. 15-16. Like I said though, students were given some time to complete these and may have them already done. In that case, they simply need to bring it back and turn it in tomorrow morning. Also, if your child hasn't turned in the signed portion of the Homework Policy or the student info sheet they will need to do that by Tomorrow. Thanks!
Prayers: In our prayers this morning we prayed for families who have lost loved ones, Jake's sister who had her wisdom teeth removed, Ashley's Grandpa who is sick, Christopher's uncle who was seriously injured, Grace's grandma, Michael's brother who is at the Air Force Academy. We also gave prayers of thanks for pets that we love. Finally, we asked God to take away all the spiders in our classroom and relocate them outside (that was my favorite!!).
Lastly, I encourage you to stop by our room sometime and check us out, you are always welcome. You can find our room by the wonderful handmade flowers on our hallway bulletin board!
