The End of a Wonderful Week!

Well, I think we all thought the week should have ended on Wednesday, but Friday has finally arrived! It was a great day! We had an assembly to kick-off our fundraiser for the fall. Morley Candy is a wonderful Christian organization -- who doesn't love chocolate???

Here we go...

Successes: We accomplished a lot with our Circle stories today. Many of the students were able to publish their stories with a cover and everything! They really are great! I can't wait for you to see the finished products.

Struggles: Today is was our listening skills that seemed to suffer!!! Literally, 3 seconds after I had given instructions, I had about 6/7 students who said, "What do I do here?" We prayed that God would turn our ears back on for the weekend and especially Monday!

Homework: We only had Social Studies today. We created Skyline pictures today. Students needed to draw buildings and bridges to create their own skyline. I also told students that they didn't need to bring home their assignment books today because everyone got their homework done in school.

Prayers: We prayed for Andrew's dad who has a fever and Tomas' sister Aleks. We also prayed that Grace's Grandpa would be safe on his trip and Andrey's brother who is going on a trip as well. Finally, we gave thanks for a new little baby boy for Jack's Aunt. He was born last night -- Jack said they hadn't decided on a name yet:).
