Manic Monday!

Well, things seemed to move very slowly today. I told a few parents today that it seemed like it should be Thursday to me. Not because there was a lot going on, but because it just seemed soooooo long!

Here we go...

Successes: We were very quick with our math today. We seemed to get done in half the time. Therefore, we learned a new game today -- "Heads Up, Seven Up." It might not be new to many of the students, but I know there were a few who didn't know the game.

Struggles: We didn't really have any today!!! I had a few students who up until today were on the quiet side, but something today made them VERY talkative... We'll blame in on the humidity:)!

Homework: We Math 12B. Social Studies vocab cards -- community, law, citizen, map title, map key, compass rose, population, urban area, suburb, rural area. I've also moved the Chapter 1 test to Thursday. Reading worksheet 26 on synonyms, and a handwriting review sheet (regular lined paper with letters and names on it).

Prayers: We said prayers of thanks for Aaron's Grandpa getting rid of his kidney stones and for all of the people who showed up for the Kids Against Hunger event at church yesterday. We also prayed for families who are struggling right now.

Here are a few of the students who showed up to serve lunch to the volunteers for the Kids Against Hunger event. Thanks So Much!!!!

Blessings,

Miss Mazur
