A Sunny End to Our Week!

This may feel like it's been one of the longest weeks, but I will say that I am thankful that the sun has come out to greet us each day!  We were also fortunate to be able to go outside for most of the days, too!  I pray that you have a safe and productive long weekend!

Auction Basket Help! … This year, our school will be hosting a Euchre Tournament on Saturday, February 28^th at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Clawson.  The planning committee has asked for each class to donate a basket for the silent auction that will take place during at the tournament.  We will be creating a Detroit Lions themed basket.  To help with this basket, I am asking for each family to bring in $5 toward the cost of the basket.  Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at mazurt@ourshepherd.net.  Thank you, in advance, for your support!

Singing at Church … Thank you to all of the parents who brought their children to sing for the 10:15 service at Ascension of Christ Lutheran Church this past Sunday! The members were so appreciative – it’s a special thing for them to hear a children’s choir!  If you weren’t able to come, there will be another opportunity for your child to sing on Sunday, January 26^th at the 9:30 service.  I pray that all of you will be able to come so that we may worship as a choir!

Book Orders! … A book order form went home today in your child’s Friday Folder.  Orders will be due next Friday, January 23, 2015.

American Symbols Report … Just a reminder that paragraphs and models are due this Wednesday, January 21^st.
