We Made it Through!

We have all made it though this full week in one piece!  It was a long week! I guess they can't all be 2 day weeks!  Please remember that there is no school on Monday due to Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.  Enjoy the long weekend!

Auction Basket Help! … We will be making 2 baskets for this year’s School Auction.  I am asking for $2 from each child to help cover the costs of items that will be included in our basket.  Also, I am looking for a few parents who would be willing to help put these baskets together in a creative way!  If you are able to help, please contact me at mazurt@ourshepherd.net.  Thank you in advance for your generosity!

Singing at Church … This is just a reminder that we will be singing at the 6:00 service on Saturday, January 25 to help kick-off National Lutheran Schools Week!

Science Test Friday! … We will be having a test over Chapter 11 on Friday.  A review is available on the School’s Learning OnLine (Moodle) site.

Bone Marrow Drive … Please take time to read the flyer that was sent home in today’s Friday Folder.  Please prayerfully consider participating in this event.  If you are unable to participate, please keep the organization, The Match, and also baby Hadley in your prayers!

Glue Sticks Needed! … We have been going through glue sticks faster than I had anticipated!  I tried using glue bottles for a while to ease up on our usage, but you can look at our notebooks to see how that has been going:-/.  Please talk with your child this weekend to see if they are running low or out of glue sticks.  We will be using them quite a lot for the remainder of the school year.
