It's a "Cootie" Kind of Day!

Well, today we made Science "Cootie Catchers!"  We used them to help us study our Science Vocabulary words and also to learn about Physical Changes.  Here's the example I showed them:

I made up a game for it!  Here are the rules:

  1. Choose a partner to play with.
  2. Have your partner choose a color.  Spell that color while opening the catcher -- just like you normally would.
  3. Your partner then chooses a vocabulary word. YOU have to give your partner the definition.
  4. If you get the definition correct you get a point. If you get it wrong your partner gets the point.  Repeat that 4 more times.
  5. Switch & have your partner do steps 1 through 4.
  6. Each person completes steps 1 through 4 twice.  The person with the most points at the end wins the game!
Hope this is a fun way for your children to practice their vocabulary words!

Have a great evening!
