A Blessed Veterans' Day!

Today, we took time to learn a little bit about what Veterans' Day means.  We started out with a nice 100s chart puzzle to place in our Math Notebooks:

We also learned about what it means to be brave and patriotic.  We learned about the 5 branches of the Armed Forces and what each of them do.  We ended our day with a Veterans' Day timeline.  We are SO thankful for the soldiers past and present who willingly put their lives in danger to make sure we stay free.
