Welcome Back!

Well, the cold has lasted!  It's about to warm up, but I'm hoping that the extreme heat & humidity is behind us for the foreseeable future!

Here we go...

Successes:  We are continuing to work on our Science Chapter...Matter. Today we focused on Solids. Part of their assignment was to draw pictures to go with the solids that we listed in our Science Notebooks. The notebook will be really helpful when it comes time to study for our tests -- Eek!

Struggles:  Our talking has emerged as a consistent issue.  I really don't mind talking, but there isn't a low volume for our class' talking.  We are practically screaming at each other.  Today I had to use my whistle because my voice couldn't be heard.  Please keep us in your prayers! I know it's still the beginning of the year, but we need to get this under control!

Homework:  Science Pictures in Science Notebook, Math 13B, Reading wkst. 31-32.
