Snail
Fundraiser … This
is the last week for the fall fundraiser.
Please be sure to turn them in by Friday!
Spelling
Test Info …
We have been working on our listening skills and today I noticed some
improvement & effort!  One of the
things that you may notice on your child’s spelling test is that they may have
spelled a word correctly, but because it had a capital letter it was marked
wrong.  Before turning in each test I ask
students to check their words…make sure there aren’t any capital letters
(unless one of the words is a name)…make sure you put your name in the upper
right corner…make sure that you spell lesson correctly in the upper left.  These are things that I asked them to
check.  If they didn’t check them when
they had the opportunity then it was marked wrong. I just wanted to clarifyJ.
Listening
Skills …
Our listening skills have been lacking lately.
We (meaning I) had a very exhausting week trying to speak over the noise
level or try to keep them focused and follow directions. We had many redoes
during this week!  Please keep our class
in your prayers!
Field
Trip Form …
Just a reminder that slips are due back with payment by Tuesday, October 1st.
Storia
App …
If you haven’t ever heard of Storia, please take time to check it out!  It’s a great eReader app that allows you to
get books through Scholastic, book orders and website, that help students build
their critical thinking skills.  You will
receive 5 free eBooks just for signing up!
