What a day! Mrs. McLoughlin knows what she is doing by only making us go for 1/2 a day on the first day of school! I am tired and struggling to keep my eyes open even as I write this! :) It was a great day and we accomplished a lot! We labeled folders and notebooks...we sent the jitters away by drinking "Jitter Juice"...and we worked really hard at following directions!
If you look in your child's folder tonight, you will see a few things. First, You may see a packet with a paper clip...most of it is for your information -- my business card, a sheet explaining our behavior system, and a sheet telling you how you can sign up to receive text or email reminders in case anything is forgotten. If you have any questions please let me know! In that packet you will find a yellow half sheet of paper. Please fill this form out and return it to me by Thursday. Also, you may find our weekly behavior sheet. Your child should have filled out the form for Monday indicating how he or she ended the day. Please be sure to talk about it with your child each night, sign it and return it to school. It's a great way to keep up-to-date on your child's behavior in class.
