Today was a great day! We came back from a 4 day weekend, students were refreshed...I pray that you all had a wonderful weekend and had a chance to visit with friends and family!
Here we go...
Successes: Today was the first day of P.E.! In the words of one of our many classmates, "WE LOVE MR. GARDNER!" I don't know exactly what went on in there, but they came back sweaty & tired! That's what I like to see when they come back from P.E.! We also started working on a little writing project. We will be writing about one of our favorite summer activities. It will be called "A Summer to 'Tweet' About." We made a list today of things we did over the summer and started organizing. We will work more on it maybe tomorrow, but definitely Thursday.
Struggles: The humidity was awful today! It really made it difficult for us to concentrate! We pray that tomorrow isn't as bad!
Homework: Science wkst. 85-86, Math 5B, Reading wkst. 1-2 & read We Camp to an adult, and Handwriting pg. 19-20.
Today's Prayer: We pray that Nicholas' brother does well at soccer tryouts and is able to make the team!
Don't forget that tomorrow is Chapel and we will be collecting offerings to purchase school supplies for students and schools who can't afford them.
