1 MORE DAY! 1 MORE DAY!!!

So, we have one more day in this week of school. It's hard to believe that after this we will only have 2 more weeks before Christmas Break!!! I better get working on my Christmas Shopping!

Here we go.

Successes: The reports are that they did very well in Art class today. Everyday this week, the students have come back with a good report from Mrs. McLoughlin! Way to go Second Graders!

Struggles: We seem to be moving at warp speeds lately. Now, I know that students in second grade like to rush to get things done, but lately they have been sloppy, incomplete & inaccurate. Please remind your child to double check their work! Have them touch the answer for each problem & make sure it is completed.

Homework: Science wkst. 63, Social Studies "Iroquois" wkst., Reading wkst. 170, Spelling test & wkst due tomorrow.

Prayers: Continued prayers for healing for Mr. D'Aoust...Then Tomas' went home sick today -- please keep them all in your prayers! We also had prayers for good basketball practices, safe travels for Grace's dad, Sara's dance recital tomorrow, the OS basketball games today, Aaron's mom who isn't feeling well, Joseph's brother who is sick, Joseph's knee, Jack's frog, dry skin & drainage, Ricardo's puppy, & Vidhiyaa's Grandma. We are also thankful that Elisha's half birthday was enjoyable.

Don't forget that tomorrow is appropriate FREE DRESS!!! Also, don't think that I've forgotten that our class won the free dress day for the 5K funwalk! If we don't have it in the next 2 weeks, we will have it after Christmas!!!
