I know that I have used this title before, but it truly is TGIF! It might be my standard Friday title since it is just soooooo true! I hope that everyone has an enjoyable weekend!
Here we go...
Successes: We did an art project today inspired by the Book of Kells we looked at pictures online -- the pictures are cool! Wikipedia has some great ones! We used that inspiration to write our names. We made the first letter a block letter & decorated it with lots of detail! We are going to be practicing that again next week!
Struggles: Well, I would be lying if I said that the rainy weather didn't get to us!! We didn't get to go outside for recess at all today! By the end of the day, we were done for -- all of us! I don't know about the students, but I will be going home to read a good book & take a nice long nap!
Homework: Language wkst. 7-8 -- students need to complete the story on page 8 by completing the sentence fragments. They can combine them or add their own parts.
Prayers: Grace's Dad is having a birthday today! Jake Aubrey's Grandpa is having surgery, Drew's Dad has a cold, keeps Kemp's Dad safe during an autocross race today, Sara has a canker sore & wants it to go away, jack is excited to see his little cousin today, thanks for Tomas' sister's birthday yesterday. We prayed that the rain would go away for all the soccer games that everyone has this weekend (sorry OS -- won't happen for you), Thanks that Grace's Grandpa was going to pick her up today. Be with Ricardo as he and his team prepare for their first hockey game. We were thankful that Jack's Aunt had safe travels home, and we asked that Michael have a fun time at Lutheran High School Northwest tonight.
Finally, don't forget that today is the deadline to qualify for the FREE DRESS DAY!:) You can still sign up by clicking here.
Blessing on your weekend!
