Flower Day Stuff & The Second Grade Standard...

So, I sit here writing this tonight as one exhausted person!  Today was the Eastern Market's 49th Annual Flower Day and I was down there working for my Aunt & Uncle.  It is the one day each year when they know that I will help them & let me tell you... IT. WAS. BUSY!  We were basically cleaned out by 2:00...that hasn't happened since 2012 -- my cousin did the research! :-)  I will tell you, it makes me appreciate what I do each and every day!  Farming is hard work!  Don't get me wrong, teaching takes a lot of work, but what my aunts and uncles do makes my job look like a vacation!  It makes me appreciate my job during this crazy end of the year time! I will hopefully wake up tomorrow -- remember the exhaustion -- and will have a renewed energy for my students just in time for the last 14 days of school!

PTL General Meeting … Please plan to attend Thursday night’s PTL General Membership Meeting!  We would love to get more parents involved!  The meeting starts at 6:00!  Hope to see you all there!

Friday Is Field Day! … Just a reminder, this Friday will be our annual OS Field Day.  Students will be bringing his/her shirt home on Monday.  I’ve washed all of them.  So all that is needed is for them to wear them on Friday.  Also, don’t forget that Friday is a half day!

Awards Night … Don’t forget about Awards Night on Thursday, May 28^th.  The Service begins at 6:30.  All school choirs will be singing.  Therefore, all students are expected to attend.
