Spring is in the Air!

Well, it was a great week to be able to see how much of the snow had disappeared from our playground each day.  It's a wonderful time of year when we can feel Spring just right around the corner!  But, with the melting of the snow comes the large amount of mud on our playground.  While the jackets may change, it's still important to send your children to school each day with some type of snow pants and boots!  Nothing ruins an afternoon more than sitting in muddy pants!

Iowa Testing … Just a reminder that students will be taking Iowa Tests of Basic Skills March 23-27!  It is so very important that children attend each day.  Much of our testing is given orally.  Therefore, students who are absent will need to be pulled out of class when they come back to make up those missed tests. 

Science Test Results … Students brought home their chapter 7 science tests today.  Students may make corrections and turn it back in no later than Tuesday to receive an improved grade for this marking period.

Spelling … We just finished our Reading theme and will be taking a Reading test this week.  Therefore, we will not be taking a Spelling Test this weekend
