Well, we have one musical performance in the books! In my unbiased opinion...It was awesome! The students were very excited & the executed everything to the best of their abilities! They even handled little hiccups... like the mic falling...like experts! I'm so proud of each student! Most importantly, I'm proud that we were able to share the Treasure of Christmas with so many of our friends and family!
Thank you Moms and Dads for choosing to send your children to Our Shepherd Lutheran School! There aren't a lot of schools out there who can do what we do, which is Proclaim the Gospel! We are truly blessed to do what we do!

Giving Tree …
Just a reminder that we are asking for each child to bring in $5 to help cover
the costs for our Giving Tree family.
Students can bring it in to me and I will make sure it gets to the
Student Council.
Youth-4-Truth Choir
Sings … Just a reminder that we will be singing in church at 9:30 service
on Sunday, November 23, 2014.  Students
should meet up in the balcony.
Cookie Walk
Volunteers Needed … 2nd and 3rd grade parents are being
asked to help with this year’s annual Cookie Walk sponsored by the PTL.  This is a wonderful opportunity for parents
to gain hours toward Time & Talent balances.  As one of our school’s largest fundraisers,
the Cookie Walk needs your help with setup after school on Thursday, December 4th
& with sales on Friday morning, December 5th.  There is a sign-up sheet on the classroom
door or you may contact Bridget Gearin (bridgetgearin@gmail.com) if you have
any further questions.
Book Orders …
These will be sent home Monday (since I forgot to send them home today).  Please have orders back by Wednesday.  I know this is a short turn-around, but I
would like to make sure the books are here by Thanksgiving.  I will be sending one more order form home
before Christmas.
Field Trip Forms …
Don’t forget we will be taking a field trip on Monday, December 8th.  The play begins at 10:00 a.m.  We should be back in time for lunch. A
permission slip will be sent home with your child on Monday.

The Fifth Commandment  You shall not murder.  What
does this mean?  We should fear and
love God so that we do not hurt or harm our neighbor in his body, but help and support
him in every physical need.
Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the
desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4
[Jesus said,] “Whoever is of God hears the Word of God.” John 8:47
