Ugh! It has been horrible here today! The stickiness has been almost unbearable, but we have made it through! Hopefully, tomorrow will be better...I know Friday is supposed to be!
Here we go...
Successes: We are continuing to do well on our "Read to Self" time during our Daily 5. I've started assessing students & hope to have them all done by the end of the month:)! We also spent time learning about Subtraction story problems. Clues like "how many are left" tell us that we need to subtract the numbers rather than add them together!
Struggles: Well, the heat isn't helping, but we continue to struggle with our talking. The phrase, "Just because I stop talking doesn't mean that you may START talking" come from my mouth multiple times today! Please pray that we will continue to improve on learning when it is appropriate to talk with our neighbors!
Homework: Memory Work, Math 11B, Science Vocabulary -- match the definitions with the words already glued in their Science Notebooks.
