So, now I will start the count down to Christmas Vacation! We are all excited about it...there's nothing we can do about it. We love coming to school, but we would be lying if we said that we didn't love a vacation!
Here we go...
Successes: We made a Christmas tree today! I have to say that I LOVE Pinterest! I've been trying to come up with a new bulletin board for our hallway for a couple days...I wanted something I've never done before...all I had to do was type in "Christmas Bulletin Board Ideas" and I was overwhelmed with the different ideas out there! What did we ever do before social media??? Anyway, we used cut-out tracings of our hands to make a Christmas Tree. It's pretty cute...even if I do say so myself! We've also been plugging away at 2 digit addition! It seems like a piece of cake!
Struggles: It's just the Christmas Wiggles! Please keep us in your prayers!
Homework: Religion wkst. 24, Science test on Chapter 8 (Moodle is really helpful), Math 54B, Reading wksts. 167-169 & 169-170, and Handwriting wkst. 69-70.
Daily Prayer: Today we prayed that David's Grandpa would find some happiness & cheer!
Also, we watched a video of Christmas lights today set to the song Amazing Grace (an upbeat version). The kids loved it & asked if I would share it with you. Click here if you would like to see it.
