The Sun is Shining!

So the sun is bright and shiny today!  That makes our days a little bit nicer as the weather continues to get colder!

Here we go...

Successes:  We learned our first 2 cursive letters to day!  Cursive letter l and h!!!  We worked really hard on them today!  Be sure to check out our worksheets that came home today, but don't forget they need to come back tomorrow!

Struggles:  Today was a little difficult for us to stay focused during Reading Centers.  This isn't our usual behavior, so please pray that Friday's Center time will be better!

Homework:  Memory Work, Math 45B, Small Group Readers, Reading wkst. 145-146, Science wkst. 139-140.

Daily Prayer:  Today we said prayers for Nathan's Great-Great-Grandpa.  He has cancer and we prayed that God would make his body clear of cancer.  As you can see, this rotation's focus in on prayers for others!  We will continue to work on the concept of prayer throughout the year.

A few reminders...Book orders are due Friday if you wish to order from them.  There will most likely be one more before Christmas as well.  Also, a letter went home with your child today about how you can keep current on your child's Accelerated Reader progress.  Please be sure to read this note!  If you wish to be emailed each time your child takes a test, please read the instructions carefully!
