Storia App … Today your child’s Friday Folder includes a pamphlet about Storia. It is a free eBook app offered by Scholastic. When you download the app you automatically receive 5 free eBooks. You are also able to purchase eBooks from our book orders each month. There is no obligation, but it’s just something I wanted to share with parents as an e-reader alternative. If you choose to sign up for it by visiting the wesite on the pamphlet, simply use our classroom code (HCPJM) and you will be linked with our classroom site.

Paper Bags needed! … We are in need of paper bags for each child in 2^nd grade. We will be using them to make our Native American costumes for our Thanksgiving Feast.

Book Orders … November book orders are included in the Friday Folders today. Don’t forget that you can still order books online. For every order that is placed online, parents get a free $5 book pick & our class receives a free $3 book pick! If you are purchasing books as Christmas Gifts, please include a note and I will be sure to contact you and place them in bags before sending them home.
