October Book Order ... This was sent home in today's Friday Folder. You can order 2 different ways – by filling out the form or by ordering online. Both options need to be “turned-in” by Wednesday, October 10^th. To order online simply go to www.scholastic.com. Under the parents tab choose “order from book club flyer.” Enter our classroom code “HCPJM” & you can set up your account.

Upland Hills Farm Field Trip … Just a reminder that permission forms are due Tuesday, October 9^th.

Storia eBook App … While you might be looking online at the books for the book order, I encourage you to take a look at Storia. It’s a new program that Scholastic has developed. There is an app for iPad, iPod touch, and iPhone. By using our class code “HCPJM” parents can receive a free $5.00 book pick. Also, when you download and sign up for an account you will receive 5 free ebooks – just for sighning up! You don’t have to, but it may be worth checking out!

The Second Commandment You shall not miss use the name of the Lord your God. What does this mean? We should fear and love God so that we do not curse, swear, use satanic arts, lie or deceive by His name, but call upon it in every trouble, pray, praise, and give thanks
