Okay, well it was the Student's first full day. As I so sadly pointed out to them today, this is my 14th first full day of second grade! Ugh!! I say that because of the number -- which makes me feel old!
Here we go...
Successes: We had a lot of fun today talking about what we need to have in Second Grade to be successful learners. We made backpacks and lists of things we think will make us successful this year. I hope to have them in the hallway by tomorrow. We also spent a little time getting to know our classmates better. Even though most have been together since preschool, there might be something we don't know about each other.
Homework: Math -- writing numbers 0-100, Handwriting pg. 15-16. Both are due tomorrow and should be turned in to me in the morning.
Well, I'm exhausted! I will sure be in bed early tonight!
