What a Beautiful Day!

Today was so beautiful it was hard for us to concentrate on all the school "stuff" we had to do!

Here we go...

Successes:  We learned a lot today!  In Math we learned how rounding a number to the nearest 10 can help us estimate the answer.  Reading helped us remember what homophones and idioms are so that we can use them in our writing.  Science brought us information about the phases of the moon and how the moon reflects the light from the sun.  Finally, in handwriting we reviewed all of our lower case cursive letters in preparation for the start of the Capital letters!

Struggles:  Well, the weather caused us to struggle with staying focused.  Tomorrow won't be much better, but hopefully we will still be able to focus long enough to get our work done!

Homework:  Science 149-150, Math 98B, Reading wkst. 23 & 34, and Handwriting pg. 99-100.

Enjoy the warm weather!
