Science was Alive Today!

We had a great day here as school.  We had many visitors of the 4 legged kind!

Here we go...

Successes:  Well, today we had a visit from Science Alive!  Mrs. Neill was at our school to talk about different animals and to teach us something new about each one of them.  We got to see an armadillo, a chinchilla, 2 kookaburra birds (they were really loud -- but funny!), a snake (I stayed away from that one!), a toad, and an anteater!  Here are just 2 of the animals we saw today:

I can't tell you how wonderful Mrs. Neill was!  You could tell that she loved each of these animals!  She also learned a thing or too from our resident Biologist, Gabe!

Struggles:  Well, we really didn't want to stay inside today, but it was wet enough that the teacher's on duty decided it was better to stay in:(  That means we need to get a lot of fresh air tonight so that we don't go crazy tomorrow!

Homework: Memory work, Math 88B, Science test over chapter 7 (moodle review is now online).

Stay dry this evening!
Miss Mazur
