Here we go...
Successes: This week has been full of successes for us! We finished our Social Studies test yesterday & from what I can see every one did pretty well. Those tests will be sent home next week. Also, we had our first reading groups yesterday! We came up with our own group names! We will be known as "God's Lambs," "The Puppies," and "The Red Wings." We will be known by those names for a while until our reading groups change. We are also observing ladybugs and they go through their life cycle. Right now they are in the pupa stage. Hopefully, next week we will see the ladybugs come out. Here's a picture of our "Ladybug Land." In front of the picture you can see the different life stages of the ladybug. The 3rd one is the pupa stage. We have been very excited!
Struggles: He have still been struggling with doing things in a quiet manner. Please don't misunderstand...I don't expect them do things silently, but a lower volume of talking would be much more polite and respectful. Please pray that this gets better soon!
Finally -- a few things for the rest of the week:
- This will be my one and only blog this week. I am out of town starting tonight & won't be here tomorrow. Please pray for Mrs. Freda that the students are respectful and polite!
- Students will be singing at the 9:30 service on Sunday. This is different from what I told you in the Standard last week.
- Free Dress tomorrow since it is the first Friday of the month.
- Field Trip forms are due on Tuesday. There are a few of you who still need to turn them in. Thanks!
Many Blessings,
Miss Mazur
