Today has been absolutely beautiful! The sun is shining & it hasn't rained! What more could you ask for?
Here we go...
Successes: We spent time looking up words in the dictionary. These students are very good at looking those words up! Good Job Second Graders!
Struggles: Today we worked on classifying animals. We have a hard time remembering that the word "classify" means the same thing as group. This is a skill that can be practiced at home by looking at random items & asking, "How would you classify or group all of these items." See what they come up with, ask them to group or classify them another way. This will help them grasp the concept even better!
Homework: Science wkst. 21-22, Math 16B, Reading wkst. 20 & 28, Spelling Test, and Handwriting pg. 27-28.
