I was Wrong!!!

In all of my excitement and anticipation for the end of the school year I found that I have been off by 1 number in my end of the year count!!!  We have 16 more wake-ups as of today.  I told you it was 16 wake-ups as of yesterday...Sorry to add to your school year, but I have a feeling the only ones who would mind are the students and me:)

Here we go...

Successes:  We learned the cursive letter B today!  Several of our students were very happy to be able to write their whole name in cursive -- until they figured out that they essentially had been doing that all along since there's not much difference between cursive & printed B.  My favorite comment though was from Beth who said, "YES! Now I can finally go back to writing Beth & I don't have to write Elizabeth anymore!"  I took the opportunity to remind her that she could have been writing Beth all along, but it made me laugh anyway:)

Homework:  Memory Work, Math 124B, Handwriting pg. 121-122, Reading wkts. 168-171 & Spanish Menu Rough Drafts -- Spanish was an optional thing & some students wanted to work on it at home so they brought their folders home for help:).
