Yay! It's Friday!

It is Friday.  It is a beautiful Friday!  It is the weekend!

Here we go...

Successes:  We had a chance today to make some yummy pictographs!  We used M & Ms to make pictographs and then we got to eat them (some of us ate something else)!  We did a great job of working together to gather the data for our graphs!  We also took our first AR test today!  Starting next week, students will be able to take tests during center time on Tuesdays & Thursdays or after school.  Beginning in the 2nd quarter, students who earn 6 or more points will get their star up on the AR board next to the Multi-purpose room.

Struggles:  Tattling.  It's an epidemic among our boys in the class!  I've never had a class were the boys were tattling all the time...it's usually the girls -- I don't mean to generalize, but it's true!  Please have a talk with your children this weekend about when it's appropriate to the the teacher about someones behavior.  I told them that if they or someone is in danger then they can tell me -- otherwise, let it go!  Please keep this in your prayers!

Homework:  Students did not bring home their assignment books today so we have...Reading wkst. 68, Math 25B & Narrative stories to finish.
