2 Days Down, 178 More to Go!

Well, we sure have started this year off right! It's going to be a great year with a lot of new things happening in our room! We have been blessed with a new SMART board in our classroom and we are looking forward to all that brings!

Each day I will try to keep you up-to-date on things that happened in our classroom that day. More specifically, I will inform you of our daily Successes, Struggles, and Homework! I welcome any feedback or questions you have in regards to the blog or our classroom in general!

Here we go...

Successes: We had so much fun today -- even though it was as hot as a campfire! :) We got to meet Mr. Garner today! We had so much fun during P.E.! We are so blessed to have Mr. Gardner as our teacher this year. Also, we had fun making a birthday graph on the SMART board today! What a blessing this new tool is to our school and classroom!

Struggles: Yes, we do have one! I know it's hard to get back into the swing of things after being off all summer, but we are struggling with talking out of turn. This takes a while to readjust, but we struggle with it mostly in the hallway. We had to stop several times today to be reminded of the rules. Please keep in your prayers that we may learn this lesson quickly!

Homework: Well, we did have some today! We had Math 2B. Students may have finished most of this at school -- I did give them some time to complete it. However, ALL students need to complete #1 at home. Also, some students may have a paper in which they needed to write all the numbers from 1 to 100. This is also due tomorrow, but most have already completed it.

P.S. I also want to thank you for the Birthday Wishes today! The flowers from the students are beautiful & all of the cards are very sweet!
