Where has the week gone????

I can't believe that the week is over already!!! I also can't believe that my last post was on Monday! What have I been doing after school all week??

Here we go...

Successes: These students like to get in & get things done!!! I gave them the option of taking their tests (spelling, math, etc.) in the morning or we could space them out during our normal times for those subjects. They chose to get them all done! We took our tests in the morning & we've been doing our other subjects.

Struggles: There have been a couple things that have been plaguing us this week:

1. Some of us have resorted to name calling. As result, there have been a lot of hurt feelings and a lot of time taken from recess. I know that this is part of the deal this close to Easter Break, but it's still not an excuse.
2. The excitement of the coming break has been taking over our brains! The fact is we just want to have some time off!!!!! I know it's difficult to concentrate with the beautiful sun shining, but we still have things to do!

Please pray that we may get some of these things pulled together before next Thursday!

Homework: Students had time during class today to work on their assignments, but here they are: Reading, wkbk. 114, 115-116 & 117. Social Studies pg. 184-187, wkst. 52-53 -- remember that there's going to be a test over Ch. 6 on Tuesday, Science wkst. 220-221.
