Only 2 More Days Left!

That's right we only have 2 more days of testing left! It's been an interesting day! We took the Math portion of the Iowas today & they were intense!

Here we go...

Successes: As I said before, the Math tests were intense, but we prevailed! We finished them before lunch!

Struggles: We've been struggling with appropriate language this week! The students and I had a great discussion today about what to do when you hear words that you don't know the meaning of or make you feel uncomfortable. Here is what we came up with...

When you hear a word that you don't know or you think might be bad or inappropriate you should:
1. not share it with your classmates -- make sure the gossip or talk stops with you!
2. ask mom, dad, teachers or principals what the word means.

I shared with them that I wouldn't be mad at them if they came to me and asked what the words meant and that mom and dad would feel the same way. Please keep in your prayers that this kind of talking will stop in our classroom!
