Lord, Please Let it Be a Snow Day!

That's right! That phrase did make it into our prayer today at the end of the day today! I explained to the students that it's my way of asking God for a snow day! I love them -- I won't lie to you! However, I did go on to explain that we can ask Him every day, but He usually says, "No!" I keep on asking though! :)

Here we go...

Successes: We were able to make time for students to finish all or most of their homework! Woohoo! That means that are evenings are free to attend Advent Services if possible! We also had a fun time during Art Class today. They seem to be enjoying having Mrs. McLoughlin as their teacher (and I'm not just saying that because she's my Principal)!

Struggles: We have a severe case of "ants-in-the-pants." It hits us this time of year! We have the excitement of the season & the upcoming vacation!!! We had a talk about how we have to put in some extra special effort during this week and a half that we have left! Please keep us in your prayers.

Homework: Memory Work is due tomorrow (extra copies can be found on the Fast Direct class bulletin board), Science wkst. 69, Math 53B, Social Studies test on Friday over Chapter 3, Spelling sentences (due Friday).

Prayers: Please keep everyone safe as they travel home. Continue to heal Tomas' Dad. And, Lord, if it be your will, please let us have a snow day!!!! ;)

Finally, don't forget that cookies for the cookie walk need to be brought in tomorrow. I would like to remind you that the class with the most participation gets a prize! Your child should have brought home a blue reminder slip today.

Christmas Blessings,
Miss Mazur

Here's a picture of Sara practicing her cursive!!! We love cursive!

Here's a glimpse of our little Christmas Tree! Enjoy!
