Monday?...Already???

Does it ever seem to you that you just don't have enough time on the weekends to do what needs to get done??? Well, that is how my weekend went! Fortunately, I have a great class that welcomes me back no matter what! You gotta love second graders!

Here we go...

Successes: The Students were very diligent this morning! You could tell they wanted to get things done! Reading -- done! Religion -- done! Math -- wait -- not done until after lunch, but we still worked hard!

Struggles: We need to continue working on our adding 9 facts and also our doubles plus one facts.

Homework: Religion wkst. 8A, Science Ch. 2 test on Wednesday, Math 29B, Social Studies wkst. 14, Reading wkst. 90, and Handwriting pg. 39-40. I know that it seems like a lot, but most of it should have been completed in class!

Prayers: Andrey's brother, Chandler's, arm still hurts. Pray that Jack's dad feels better today. Thanks that Drew & his family had a great time at the pumpkin patch this weekend. Pray that pumpkins don't rot before Halloween. Gracie has a bump on her head & prays that it will stop hurting. We pray for continued healing for Aaron's Great-Grandma. We are thankful for good games this weekend & pray for those that are coming up. Continue to Vidhiyaa in our prayers as she visits family in India.

Also, I was reminded by a parent (thanks, Mrs. Morrison) about the Science website that can help study for the test on Wednesday. I showed it to the students & they were very excited about it. To visit that site, click here.
