2 Days Down, 1 To Go!

Yes, that's right -- we only have 1 more day of school this week! I know the students are excited & I'm excited as well!

Here we go...

Successes: We had another successful day of Reading Centers!! It seems that we are learning how to manage our own time & make sure that things get done. Some of us are making better decisions than others:) Students were also given a "Reading Group Bag" for their reading centers. In it you will find their reading group book and a few post-its. Students were given post-its to mark their favorite part in each story that they will be reading.

Struggles: As I said earlier, some of us are not making wise choices right now. We are choosing to be goofy and laugh with our neighbors rather than get our work done. Hmmmm, these are lessons that we will keep learning:) Please keep this in your prayers.

Homework: Social Studies Chapter 2 test tomorrow -- students can use pgs. 62-63 to help them study. They also have their small group reading books to read by next Tuesday -- also, they should use a post-it to mark their favorite part of the story & tell why it is their favorite. Finally, Math 33B.

Prayers: We prayed that Aaron's brother's cough would go away, for Ashley's back to feel better, Kemp's mom to feel better & Sara's brother to feel better. We also prayed that Drew's Great-Grandma's leg would heal quickly. Thanks for Ricardo's fun hockey game last night. Be with Christian at his soccer game this weekend. Help Andrey's brother do a good job on his art project. Help all of us to have a happy and safe Halloween. Finally, continue to watch over Vidhiyaa & her family in India & bring them back safely.
