Monday Is Here!

Well, Monday has come and gone! It was a long steamy day -- I don't know why God chooses to make the weather hot AFTER the start of the school year. I think it should be starting to cool down -- but what do I know??? We were thankful though that Christopher's birthday is today and his wonderful mother brought us all ice cream cups! It was a great end to a hot day!

Here we go...

Successes: We worked really well today. We were good at asking questions when something didn't make sense. We are also good at helping others stay on task. Many times, throughout the day, I saw students helping those who may have been lost for a moment.

Struggles: We really struggled with raising our hands today. We were just shouting out the answers & that wasn't fair to all of the students -- some can come up with answers faster than others.

Homework: Today we had Science wkst. 15, Math 8B, Social Studies wkst. 5, Reading wkst. 14 & Jack's Map to read, and handwriting pg. 19-20. Most of it was completed in class.

Prayers: We prayed for Aaron's Great-Grandma today, and said a prayer of thanks that Grace's Mom's foot felt better for her run on Saturday.
